The 99-year licence was awarded with a number of terms and conditions, including a ban on poker machines at the casino and a ban on public access to the casino’s restricted gaming facility, which will be subject to minimum bet limits. The New South Wales government will reap at least $1 billion in gaming taxes from the first 15 years of Barangaroo's Crown Sydney casino operations under the terms of the $100 million licence, which was awarded by the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority.
