Construction work falls in Q2

Data from the ABS showed total construction work for the quarter slipped 1. 2 per cent to $51. 93 billion, on a seasonally-adjusted basis.

The median forecast among economists was for total construction work done to have fallen 0. 5 per cent in the quarter.

Construction work done fell more than expected in the June quarter, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
