East West Link traffic survey credible, government says

“They did this survey, tracking 400 vehicles from the Chandler Highway over to Brunswick Road, worked out what the travel times were, worked out what the travel times were going through the East West Link tunnel and they came up with the figures they’ve provided to the Linking Melbourne Authority as to time savings,” Mr Mulder said.

The Victorian Government has defended a traffic survey for the East West Link, amid claims the company it hired to conduct a major study is not qualified to provide traffic forecasts.
