The Fremantle rail bridge is expected to resume train services by Monday morning subject to a final assessment on Sunday, the Public Transport Authority (PTA) says.

Transperth will provide additional replacement buses for people travelling to the Fremantle Dockers game on Saturday.
In 2011 an incoming tide caused a refuelling barge to crash into the bridge, disrupting the line from Fremantle to Claremont.
“Which is why we can now run trains all the way from Perth down to North Fremantle, turn them and bring them back so we’ve only got a single stop to run replacement buses”.
Replacement buses have been running between the Fremantle and North Fremantle stations since the incident.
