Hanwha also revealed it had grown its shipments in the first half of 2014 by 68 per cent to 539 MW in total, confirming the company´s position as the largest European PV provider. “Against the background of rising global demand for our high quality PV products and solutions we will further increase our international production capacities," chief executive Charles Kim said.
German solar maker Hanwha Q CELLS will expand its production capacity to 1. 5GW by year's end on the back of the completion of an additional 204MW line in Malaysia, as well as a planned 230MW expansion across Malaysia and German facilities by year's end, to be driven by manufacturing improvements in reduced cycle times across lines.
