Iron ore price plummet sparks revenue fears for WA

In June, the price of iron ore dropped to US$89 a tonne and despite a slight recovery, Dr Nahan said the period of low prices was posing a threat to state revenue.

West Australian Treasurer Mike Nahan has refused to rule out tougher budget measures as the Government deals with a period of low iron ore prices.
