NSW govt seeks public input on $2bn ICT strategy

NSW Minister for Finance and Services Dominic Perrottet said it was important to obtain community input on the 2014-15 implementation plan to capitalise on fast-moving technologies which could benefit consumers. “ICT is a fast changing environment and it is important that government policy and strategic direction stays relevant and up to date with new technologies and capabilities,” Mr Perrottet said in a statement. “Having open and transparent discussions with our stakeholders and the community ensures that we can continue to provide improved services and better value for NSW taxpayers. “I’d encourage people to go to the NSW government’s ‘Have Your Say’ website and provide their feedback about where they want to see our state’s ICT sector heading,” he said.
