Palmer may frustrate IOH takeover

A land dispute between Clive Palmer’s Mineralogy and the WA government could create a roadblock to BC Iron’s planned $250 million takeover of the Kerry Stokes-backed Iron Ore Holdings, Fairfax Media reports.

Mineralogy owns land in Cape Preston near IOH’s proposed port and has reportedly refused to yield to state government demands to cede the land, with the WA government taking Mineralogy to arbitration over the matter. "The state informed me that a decision is imminent.
