SAP flags $60m sales and support centre

The new Victorian facility includes a mission control centre with 20 staff with monitoring systems, video conferencing and telepresence capability and a locked down section for working on state and federal government contracts.

Along with Robert Gottliebsen and Stephen Bartholomeusz, Alan also founded Business Spectator, the popular business news and commentary website.

German business software outfit SAP is pumping $60 million over five years into a sales and support centre in Melbourne.

SAP says that year-over-year in Victoria, revenues increased 117 per cent and that employee numbers in the Victorian branch had ballooned 20 per cent since March 2013.
