Not only did we have a cost-benefit analysis of the new approach, we also have NBN Co’s financial results — and that gives us an update on how many Australians can actually connect to the NBN.
Last year, that figure was 227,000 — which is a big improvement considering all the uncertainty we’ve seen with the NBN since the Coalition was elected.
Work is “complete or in progress” to cover 1. 4 million premises, which means 800,000 odd people can expect to get the NBN sooner rather than later.
