Tigerair in Sydney Airport access deal

The legal threat brought the parties back to the table and Tigerair said yesterday it had reached an agreement “on issues related to access to existing infrastructure and investment in future infrastructure’’. “The negotiations were conducted on a professional, amicable basis and the working relationship with Sydney Airport is sound,” Tigerair chief executive Rob Sharp said in a statement. “Today’s agreement gives Tigerair a fair go at Sydney Airport and will enable us to continue to focus on creating a strong operating platform that supports sustainable growth and brings healthy competition to the budget air travel market.
