UK PM breaks holiday to discuss Iraq, Syria

The prime minister, who has been on vacation in southwest England, will meet Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond and other senior officials from UK security agencies, the Home Office and the Foreign Office for discussions about the threat posed by extremists from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group, now calling itself The Islamic State, it said in a brief statement. "If true, the brutal murder of James Foley is shocking and depraved," the statement said.
