European stocks open mixed

Europe's main stock markets diverged at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0. 11 per cent at 6812. 10 points.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 rose 0. 15 per cent to 9484. 53 points and the CAC 40 index in Paris added a marginal 0. 06 per cent to 4383. 62 compared with Friday's close.
