However, when the actual installed capacity and share of these segments is examined, it becomes clear that the roof-mount segment in China has lower overall demand levels and, even with high growth over the next five years, the actual amount of capacity installed will be dwarfed by the ground-mount segment.

China provides a good case study, as the roof-mount segment is forecast to grow by an average of over 30 per cent annually over the next five years, while the ground-mount segment shows much lower annual growth figures.
